Carbondale Community Arts'
Southern Arts Fund
The fund is part of an Illinois Arts Council Community Arts Access program offering grant support to artists and nonprofit organizations providing arts programming or outreach activities in communities throughout Southern Illinois.
Eligible applicants to the Fund include cultural arts groups, community music groups, theater groups, dance collectives, film/video and literary groups, artist collectives, libraries, public and private schools, and other community cultural providers. Individual artists may apply in support of programs that have a significant public outreach component. Except in rare circumstances, a grant request should not exceed $1000, and project budgets should show that Southern Arts Fund dollars are being matched by an equal amount of cash from other sources.
FY 2008 application will be available on line September 3rd, 2007.
